Asheville...a much needed getaway!





Brett and I got away by ourselves (thanks to the St. Georges) for the first time in over a year. We went to Asheville, North Carolina, hidden in the Great Smokey Mountains, right off the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is the home of the Biltmore Estate and the some of the most beautiful autumn foilage in the nation. We stayed at the Grove Park Inn enjoying the scenery, good conversation over delicious meals, and some much needed rest. The Inn was built in the late 1800s out of stone native to the area and is full of unique architecture and character. The view out our window was a vacation in and of itself!
