The heaven tree

To all of you have been praying for us since our miscarriage, we have felt every prayer. The first week was extremely tough emotionally, the second better, the third even better and the trend has continued. I don't think either one of us expected to feel the loss as much as we did, but we trust that we will see that baby in heaven one day. God says that the peace He gives is the peace that passes understanding and so many times we have felt that. I (Jill) was telling a friend a couple of weeks later about the miscarraige and she was in tears for me and I felt such an abiding peace. We know that God has been walking with us through this hardship and we pray that He will use this to show His goodness and grace to others. Thank you again for your thoughts, prayers, cards, emails, and words. Your support was treasured during this time.

Some dear friends of ours gave us a dogwood tree to plant in memory of the baby. This is a picture of the planting. Jennifer named it the heaven tree.

Jill, just came across your website and saw the blog post. There's really no appropriate way to say it, but you have our family's thoughts and prayers for your loss. You are so blessed to have such support from family and friends. There is much love in your family and Tomomi and I are always blessed to see the goodness and model of Christian living that we all strive for. You are a beacon of strength. You and Children look good, and oh yeah, tell Brett he aint no chopped liver.
