Since we have a train afficianado living in our family we took a short trip to Jackson, Tennessee last weekend to visit Casey Jones Village. Casey Jones was a railroad engineer who, in the early 1900s, sacrificed his own life slowing the train down to save his passengers. There is an old railroad just like the steam engine he ran and a museum dedicated to his legacy complete with many running model trains. The kids had a great time...especially Gabe!
