For any of you that know Brett you know that his favorite hobby is fishing so Alaska was a dream come true for him. While we were there we spent 3 days fishing. The first day we took a deep sea charter out of Seward into Prince William Sound where we spent the day fishing for Alaskan halibut. Brett and Jill both caught two of these delicious monsters and we have enjoyed the fruits of our labor every since. Another day we hiked to two different mountain lakes with our rods, spending half a day at each. It was the most pretty scenery, but we did not catch any fish. The last day of fishing we hired a guide and fished on the Kenai River, the most famous river in the world for king salmon fishing yielding the world record king salmon weighing 97 1/2 pounds. Brett's king salmon was not large but it fought and danced in the water and Brett had a exciting time bringing in his catch. We hope you enjoy these pictures.
