To celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary Brett, Jill, and Wes took a trip to Wilmington, North Carolina for the weekend (Jennifer and Gabe went to stay with their grandparents in Charlotte). We stayed at a lovely hotel on on the Cape Fear River (views have become more important to us as we spend so much time in the room for naps and early bedtimes!). We walked up and down the riverwalk, toured a historic mansion and gardens, enjoyed nice meals, relaxed, and caught up on our favorite new show, 24. Here are some pictures from our excursion.

Ok, do you really expect me to believe that you guys really just enjoyed the view out the window and caught up on 24? Sounds like a GREAT time with two and a half of my favorite people--thanks for sharing the kids and the pictures! love U--dad
